Joined in the commissioning group of Madras Atomic Power Station, Kalpakkam, in October, 1976.
Worked as commissioning supervisor and Commissioned 230MW(e) turbine and auxiliaries. Prepared operating manuals, operational flow sheets and commissioning reports.
During Unit operation worked as area supervisor in the nuclear reactor, turbine and auxiliaries, electrical systems and common services in round the clock shift and also carried out many shutdown operations.
Became a control Engineer of the panel operations and worked for the safe operation of the indigenous nuclear reactor and auxiliaries, turbine and auxiliaries, electrical systems and common services during unit operation and shutdown.
Possessing very good knowledge of Technical specification and Station policies. Handled many emergency situations of the plant. Well versed with the surveillance tests of the operation.
Became a planning engineer in 1992 of the same power station.
Prepared many outage plans of the power station and generated outage reports thereon. Using MS project programme for the project planning
Following up of jobs during unit operation as well as shutdown and co-ordination between sections and effective communication of the progress of the jobs to the management.

Engineered Low Level Events On-line programme of the WANO(World Association of Nuclear Operators) standard and manning the same successfully till date. Generated reports and organized review meetings.
